Image creation has been the lifeblood for Heidi since childhood, when she was always drawing or painting. She attended UC Santa Cruz, graduating with a BFA degree in Fine Art, with an emphasis on painting.
She attended Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, with a degree in Illustration and an extensive portfolio in Graphic Design. After graduating, she was Assistant Art Director for two Magazines--Collector's Photography and Darkroom Photography, worked as an Associate Art Director for Billboard and American Film Institute's monthly magazines and ended up as an Assistant Art Director at the Los Angeles Times Magazine. After getting a referral to design a book cover, Heidi discovered that freelance was the way to design and Art Head was born.
Using her skills from over twenty years as a freelance art director/graphic designer to create successful, consistent branding and business collateral, she brings expertise in graphic idea creation, production and communication for a variety of industries and clients.
She works collaboratively and according to her client's vision, bringing creative concepts to light that are original, legible, professional and engaging.
